Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the use of BIS Mobile app

The BIS Mobile app (‘App’) of the Building Information System (‘BIS’) developed by the State Construction Control Bureau (‘SCCB’) is a mobile solution for BIS through which one can get some of the services available in BIS.

By using the App, you accept these terms and conditions of use (‘Terms and Conditions’) and undertake to comply with them, for which reason SCCB asks you to carefully read these Terms and Conditions:

1. Because the App is a mobile solution for BIS that makes it possible to receive some of the services available in BIS, meaning that you use BIS through the app, then as you begin to use the app, you also accept the BIS terms and conditions of use published on the BIS portal[1].

2. Accepting these Terms and Conditions is required for using the services of the App.  If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions of the App, you will not be able to use the App.

3. The App is maintained and managed by SCCB and runs on devices with Android and iOS operating systems.

4. You hereby certify that you will not engage in any unauthorised actions aimed at damaging or tampering with the security system of the App, the BIS Portal, or the corresponding technical infrastructure.

5. You accept that in order to identify you and provide the services of the App, SCCB processes your personal data in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the protection of personal data.

6. In addition to the authentication methods specified in the BIS terms and conditions of use, one can be authenticated in the app using biometric data. The authentication data used in the App (data pertaining to the means of identification, including the username, password, and biometric data) are not saved.

7. SCCB reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the App at any time without your consent or notification. You can familiarise yourself with the current Terms and Conditions of the App on the BIS website and in the App.

8. The functional capacity of the App depends on the data transmission speed and the technical capability of your mobile device.

9. SCCB assumes no financial or legal liability for:

9.1. any actions you take in the App;

9.2. any conclusions, actions, or consequences arising from services received;

9.3. any consequences arising from the functions of your mobile device, including if any resulting from the manufacturer of your mobile device or the manufacturer of the operating system of your mobile device changes the functions of the mobile device or its operating system.
