The State Construction Control Bureau (BVKB) collaborates closely with representatives of the construction industry to organize the development of the Building Information System and other information systems. The aim is to ensure that the system development complies with regulatory requirements and meets the needs of end-users. Since 2018, the BVKB Information System Advisory Council has been operating, tasked with providing advisory support for the maintenance, improvement, and development of the Buiding Information System (BIS) and the Energy Resources Information System (ERIS).

Regular working groups are also organized with the goal of collaborating with representatives of the construction industry, policymakers from the Ministry of Economics, BVKB, and system developers to discuss and agree on the best and most convenient solutions for the implementation of new functionalities or improvement of existing ones in the Construction Information System.
