RSU Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health organizes an online seminar:

"Work Environment Risk Factors in the Construction Industry"

Seminar Objective:

To provide participants with information on the characteristic risk factors in the construction industry, their assessment, common accidents and occupational diseases, measurement results, best practices, etc.

Target Audience:

Employers, employees, occupational safety specialists, students of educational institutions, HR specialists, and other interested parties. The seminar content is specifically tailored for specialists WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE in construction.

Topics Covered in the Seminar:

Most common risk factors in the construction industry; Results of workplace environmental measurements; Measures for preventing or reducing risks; Examples of common workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

Lecturer: Viesturs Šmeiss, RSU Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health.

March 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM; Online, using the ZOOM platform (the connection link will be sent via email one day before the seminar).

The seminar takes place within the framework of the "Work Safety Preventive Measures Plan for 2024" approved by the Information Council of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work's contact point in Latvia.
