The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) invites Latvian manufacturers of construction materials and providers of construction services to apply for participation in the national stand at the international exhibition "The Buildings Show 2024," which will take place from December 4-6, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.

The exhibition "The Buildings Show 2024" is North America's largest exhibition and conference on design, construction, and property management. In 2023, it attracted more than 18,000 visitors, which is a 30% increase compared to 2022. The exhibition also features over 150 industry seminars. National Stand

The planned area of the LIAA national stand is 56 m² in the "Homebuilder & Renovator Expo" section. Companies for participation in the Latvian national stand will be selected based on the information submitted in the application form. Up to 8 companies that achieve the highest scores according to the selection criteria will be approved for participation.

Information for Participants

• Exhibitors must arrange and cover the costs of transporting their exhibits to and from the exhibition, either individually or in cooperation with each other.
• Exhibitors must also organize and pay for the necessary exhibition services, including unloading and loading of exhibits onto transport vehicles, delivery of exhibits to the stand location and back, temporary storage of exhibit packaging, and other related services.
• LIAA will design the stand concept and decide on the layout of participants within the stand.
• Proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for exhibition participants.
• Participants should be prepared for their representatives' travel expenses (transportation, accommodation, per diem), as well as hotel booking and other related costs.

The national stand is organized by LIAA within the European Union co-financed program for the development of innovative entrepreneurship for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with support from the European Regional Development Fund and state funding. Companies can participate either for a fee or by receiving support. To receive support, the company must meet the support criteria, which can be checked using the Self-Assessment Calculator.

After the event, entrepreneurs who qualify for support based on quality criteria can submit documents via the Business.gov.lv platform.
