The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) invites Latvian building material manufacturers and construction industry companies to apply for participation in the national stand at the international exhibition "Batimat 2026," which will take place from September 28 to October 1, 2026, in Paris, France.

"Batimat," France's largest construction industry-focused exhibition, is held every two years and is considered one of the most significant events in the industry worldwide, attracting nearly 400,000 visitors from around the globe. The exhibition features a wide range of product groups, including roofing materials, insulation, door and window manufacturing, construction materials, professional construction equipment and accessories, kitchen equipment, heating systems, ventilation systems, plumbing, paints and varnishes, electrical equipment and lighting fixtures, construction glass, hand and mechanical tools, residential housing and related solutions, as well as smart construction and other construction-related products and services.

National Stand

The planned area for the national stand is 54 m².

Companies for participation in the Latvian national stand will be selected based on the information submitted in the application form. No more than 7 companies will be approved for participation, selected according to the highest points in the selection criteria.

Information for Participants

If the applicant qualifies for support, the participation space at the stand will be subsidized from the company's available de minimis support. Companies are responsible for covering travel, exhibit logistics, and any other additional expenses that may arise.

The national stand is organized by LIAA within the framework of the EU-funded Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovative Business Development Program, with support from the European Regional Development Fund and state financing. Companies can participate either for a fee or with support. To receive support, the company must meet the eligibility criteria. Exhibit participants, individually or in cooperation with others, will be responsible for organizing and paying for the transportation of their exhibits to and from the exhibition, as well as organizing and paying for required exhibition services, including unloading and loading exhibits onto transport vehicles, delivering exhibits to the stand, temporary storage of exhibits, and other related services. LIAA will design the stand concept and decide on the placement of participants' exhibits.

Proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for exhibition participants.

Participants must budget for their representatives' travel (transport, accommodation, daily allowance), as well as hotel reservations and other expenses.
