Invitation to the Energy Efficiency Quarter at the “House I 2025” Exhibition
Published Monday, 10 March 2025From March 27 to 30, the “House I 2025” exhibition will take place at the International Exhibition Center in Ķīpsala. During the event, the Ministry of Economics, the Riga Energy Agency, and the partners of the “Live Warmer” information campaign will provide visitors with information on energy efficiency solutions, opportunities for renovating multi-apartment buildings, and regulatory frameworks in the construction sector.
Energy Efficiency Quarter – A Place for Expert Consultations
During the exhibition, the Energy Efficiency Quarter will offer individual consultations from experts representing various institutions and organizations. Consultations will be provided by representatives from:
- The Ministry of Economics
- The Riga Energy Agency
- The Ministry of Climate and Energy
- The Consumer Rights Protection Center
- The State Construction Control Bureau
- The Central Finance and Contracting Agency
- The Latvian Environmental Investment Fund
- AS “Sadales tīkls”
- Elektrum Energy Efficiency Center
- The Development Finance Institution Altum
- AS “Rīgas siltums”
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet representatives of non-governmental organizations in the construction sector, including:
- The Latvian Association of Civil Engineers
- The Latvian Association of House Managers and Administrators
- The Latvian Association of Window and Door Manufacturers
- The Building Materials Manufacturers Association
- The Latvian Roofers’ Association
Experts from the State Fire and Rescue Service, SIA “Latvijas standarts,” and the Vidzeme Planning Region (Vidzeme Energy Guide) will be available on March 27 and 28, while specialists from the State Revenue Service will be present on March 28.
In the Energy Efficiency Quarter, experts from SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” and the Riga City Development Department will also be available at their respective booths. SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” will provide consultations on housing maintenance and building renovation opportunities, while specialists from the City Development Department will offer advice on various construction-related issues and regulations.
Seminar on Multi-Apartment Building Management and Renovation
In addition to individual consultations, the Latvian Association of House Managers and Administrators, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economics, will host a seminar on March 28, titled “Current Issues in Multi-Apartment Building Management and Renovation”. The seminar will cover key topics on the renovation process of multi-apartment buildings and the effective implementation of European Union-funded projects.
