The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) invites Latvian manufacturers of construction materials and providers of construction services to apply for participation in the Latvian national stand at the international exhibition “FinnBuild 2026”, which will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 in Helsinki, Finland.

“FinnBuild” is the largest construction and building materials exhibition in Finland and takes place once every two years. In 2024, more than 450 companies participated in the exhibition, which attracted 19,000 visitors from Scandinavia, the Baltics, and other regions. The exhibition showcases the latest products, services, and technological solutions in the construction industry.

National Stand

The planned area of the national stand is 66 m². Companies for participation in the Latvian national stand will be selected based on the information submitted in the application form. No more than six companies with the highest scores according to the selection criteria will be approved for participation.

Information for Participants

If the applicant qualifies for support, the participation fee for the stand will be covered from the company’s available de minimis aid allocation. Companies must cover their own travel expenses, transportation of exhibits, and any additional costs incurred.

The national stand is organised by LIAA within the framework of the European Union co-financed Innovative Business Development Programme for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and state funding. Companies may participate either by paying the full participation fee or by receiving support. To receive support, companies must meet the eligibility criteria. Exhibitors themselves, or in cooperation with each other, will be responsible for organising and covering the costs of transporting their exhibits to and from the exhibition, as well as arranging and paying for exhibition service provider services related to loading and unloading exhibits from transport vehicles, delivering exhibits to the stand and back, temporary storage of packaging materials, and other related services.

The stand concept will be developed by LIAA, which will also decide on the placement of participants within the stand.

English language proficiency is a mandatory requirement for exhibition participants.

Participants must also cover the costs related to business travel for their representatives (transportation, accommodation, daily allowances), hotel reservations, and other related expenses.
