Evaluation of Latvia’s Most Energy-Efficient Buildings – Day 1

On 14 August, the jury of the “Latvia’s Most Energy-Efficient Building” competition will visit six buildings entered in this year’s competition.

🏢 Renovated multi-apartment buildings:

  • Darba iela 5, Talsi
  • “Ezerkrasti”, Dižstende
  • Baltijas iela 13, Liepāja

🏫 Public building:

  • “Liedags” Preschool Educational Institution, Saulrietu iela 7, Liepāja

🏭 Industrial buildings:

  • ZS “Karotīte”, Vecmuižnieki, Tume Parish, Tukums Municipality
  • Caljan LSEZ SIA, Brīvības iela 142A

The competition is organised by the Ministry of Economics and the Ministry of Climate and Energy in cooperation with the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers.

The competition regulations have been developed in cooperation with the partners of the “Live Warmer” information campaign: the Latvian Association of Property Managers and Administrators, the Latvian Window and Door Manufacturers Association, Riga Technical University, Rīga Stradiņš University, the University of Latvia, the Latvian Association of Heat, Gas and Water Technology Engineers, the Sustainable Building Council, the State Construction Control Bureau, the Latvian Construction Contractors Association, the State Fire and Rescue Service, SIA “Publisko aktīvu pārvaldītājs Possessor”, and the Central Finance and Contracting Agency.

The competition is co-financed by #EUFunds.
