On 18 August, the jury of the “Latvia’s Most Energy-Efficient Building 2026” competition will visit eight buildings entered in this year’s competition.

• Social services building, Slimnīcas iela 4, Bauska
• University of Latvia student residence, Mazā Lubānas iela 11, Riga

The competition is organised by the Ministry of Economics and the Ministry of Climate and Energy in cooperation with the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers.

The competition regulations have been developed in cooperation with the partners of the “Live Warmer” information campaign: the Latvian Association of Property Managers and Administrators, the Latvian Window and Door Manufacturers Association, Riga Technical University, Rīga Stradiņš University, the University of Latvia, the Latvian Association of Heat, Gas and Water Technology Engineers, the Sustainable Building Council, the State Construction Control Bureau, the Latvian Construction Contractors Association, the State Fire and Rescue Service, SIA “Publisko aktīvu pārvaldītājs Possessor”, and the Central Finance and Contracting Agency.

The competition is co-financed by #EUFunds.
