Since December 7th, the Construction Information System (BIS) production environment has introduced functionality developed within the framework of the ERDF project "Development of Construction Processes and IS (Phase 2)" during the 7th progress cycle. This includes the BIS API (data exchange interfaces with information systems of construction industry participants) and the Expert Workplace.
BIS API (Data Exchange Interfaces)
BIS API provides interfaces for data exchange, allowing for automated data exchange between BIS and the information systems of construction initiators, designers, and construction contractors. This facilitates time savings and reduces administrative burden for data entry in BIS for companies that use their information systems on a daily basis.
To obtain API specifications and necessary documentation, inquiries can be sent to the email: Agnese.Goba@bvkb.gov.lv.
Expert Workplace in BIS
To ensure the execution of the construction project expertise process in the BIS environment, the digitization of the construction project expertise process has been carried out. This involves creating an expert role in the BIS infrastructure and providing access to data related to construction project expertise opinions, their preparation, approval, and presentation to involved process participants.
