According to the Central Statistical Bureau, there are 592,503 inhabited multi-apartment (three or more apartments) buildings in Latvia, and 74% of them were built between 1961 and 2000. What is the current technical condition of Latvia’s housing stock, and are residents interested in making improvements to their properties?
There is practically no data on residents’ understanding and awareness of issues related to the daily management and renovation of apartment buildings. However, situations where apartment building residents are unable to reach decisions about necessary improvements are quite common.
To find out residents’ opinions about the technical condition, daily management, and development opportunities of apartment buildings, Būves nākotnei invites residents to participate in a survey.
