Published Friday, 29 November 2024On November 28 of this year, the newly elected Latvian Construction Council held its first meeting, during which industry representatives agreed on its future directions and elected its chairman. The new council aims to become a platform that unites construction industry participants, promotes better collaboration practices, and addresses strategically important issues.
During the meeting, Artis Dzirkalis, representing the association Latvian Timber Construction Cluster, was elected chairman of the Latvian Construction Council, while Edijs Kupčs, the head of the association Latvian Builders’ Partnership, was elected vice-chairman.
"The Latvian construction industry needs a strong coordinating platform to tackle the sector’s biggest challenges and foster sustainable development.
