The event recognizes outstanding projects and individuals contributing to these goals.
The "Climate Friend" award went to Carnikava Primary School, demonstrating exemplary use of wood and wood products to save energy in public buildings. The "Sympathy Award" was presented to the association "Vidrižu 4" for its dedication to project implementation and initiatives promoting energy efficiency in buildings.
The Ministry of Economics emphasizes the importance of even small steps towards reducing energy consumption due to rising energy resource prices caused by geopolitical situations. The ministry offers various support programs for enhancing energy efficiency in different sectors' buildings and plans to continue initiatives to promote housing accessibility throughout Latvia.
